Enthusiasts have been begging for an off-road-driven Jeep Wrangler pickup for years now and they’re finally getting their wish. Recent renders of the upcoming model have surfaced to give an indication of what the truck will look like. Let’s just say the designers made style and utility work well together, if this first look is even somewhat accurate.
The next-generation Wrangler will likely boast the signature seven-slot grille with round headlights to start. That’s on par with the styling of the standard Jeep Wrangler. The pickup is predicted to share the bumpers, fenders, and hood as well.
Of note, the truck bed’s leading edge will likely be cut at an angle and fall in line with the shape of the door. Most pickups have a vertical gap between the bed and cab—but Jeep is a trend setter, not a follower.
The upcoming Wrangler pickup truck will likely feature new and improved door hinges as well as pull door handles that differ from the current push-button handles.
The Jeep Wrangler pickup is scheduled to release sometime in 2018. We’ll keep you updated as production progresses. After all, we here at Jasper Jeep can’t wait to see the Jeep Wrangler pickup in person!
