New Jim Gaffigan Chrysler Campaign Highlights Pacifica as a “Dad Brand”

Chrysler PacificaThe hilarious comedian and actor Jim Gaffigan recently starred in a new advertising campaign, “Dad Brand,” to show just how much fun the new 2017 Pacifica can be. This multiplatform campaign is designed to show that the Pacifica is reinventing the minivan from the ground up, with both practical and style upgrades that will blow your mind away.

According to Fiat Chrysler, the brand chose to create the Jim Gaffigan Chrysler campaign because he is well-known for incorporating his family into his comedy. In fact, he has five children, making him the perfect person to test some of the practical features on the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica.

“As the Chrysler brand is reinventing the minivan from the ground up, the objective of our campaign is to challenge the conventional category stereotypes and appeal to a new generation of minivan buyers, including younger families,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer at FCA. “To do that, authenticity is key, with real-life language and an endorser, Jim Gaffigan, who is a real father of five with a strong point-of-view on fatherhood and modern-day parenting.”

Gaffigan’s “Dad Brand” campaign includes a new launch spot on TV, as well as multiple 30-second spots such as “Tennis,” “One-on-One Time,” and “Neighborhood Watch” among others. Gaffigan is a Grammy-nominated comedian who has been named a New York Times best-selling author, a top-touring performer, and multi-platinum-selling artist.
